Am I able to access my account records remotely?

Yes. There is a secure website available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week which allows Dealers access to log-on from any computer and view or edit customer information. Dealers are able to input account information, view activation details, and print reports.


What happens in the event of a power outage?

Our entire computer systems are supported by UPS back-ups for power surges or short power losses. In the event of an extended outage, we have a fully operational generator capable of running our computer systems, receivers, and office equipment until the electricity is restored.


What procedures are followed for alarm signals?

We have a set of standard procedures and guidelines to follow for each signal received. We offer our Dealers the opportunity to customize these procedures.


What type of software is used to monitor alarm signals?

We use the Windows version of Security Information Systems Alarm Monitoring Center software. Complete information is found under Facility Overview.


Which receivers does the Central Station use?

We currently use "Sur-Gard" and "Silent Knight" receivers.


Am I able to get weekly or monthly signal history reports?

Yes. Dealers are able to print these reports using the remote log-on system or, for a small fee, the Central Station can print the reports.


Is the Central Station able to monitor accounts located outside of the Tucson area?

Yes. We offer toll-free receiver numbers (for an additional fee per month) for accounts located out of town.


What other services does Security Services provide?

Security Services offers a wide variety of services including video surveillance, after-hours answering services, monitoring of emergency elevator phones, cellular back-up verification and two-way audio monitoring.


Will I be charged extra for accounts that report supervisory signals, such as opens & closes or daily tests?

No. Dealers are charged per account, not per signal.
