The ALARM CENTER® Introduction

The Alarm Center Monitoring/Dispatch Module is designed to record and maintain alarm account information and to monitor data sent by an alarm central station unit (receiver). This program automatically prioritizes incoming signals, displaying only emergency events that require a dispatcher response. Non-emergency events such as opens and closes are automatically logged to allow the dispatcher to process signals in the most efficient manner.

The monitoring software contains time-saving features such as automatic-dialing which improve dispatcher processing time.

The ALARM CENTER® System allows dealers to print a variety of reports, including signal history, account detail and summary reports.

Data maintained by the ALARM CENTER® Monitoring/Dispatch Module includes:

Subscriber information

Emergency notification numbers

Zone information

User codes and passwords

Permanent and temporary Note Pads for miscellaneous information

Complete Signal history

Operator audit trails

Time schedules, including accepted tolerances

System statistics

False Alarm tracking

The ALARM CENTER® System is capable of maintaining more than 100 million subscriber accounts. Up to 256 supported receivers may be used on a single System with the capability to define more than 45,000 different line cards. The System can be configured to treat each receiver line as an individual company, thus allowing one central station to monitor many companies and provide separate reporting mechanisms for each. Individual systems are limited to the capabilities of installed hardware.
