Standard Alarm Processing Procedures


ACCESS DENIED Residence Take no action.
Business Contact premise for user name and clearing code.
If no contact or no code, notify Responsible Parties only.

AC LOSS If restored - No Further Action
Residence Notify premise. If no contact, no further action.
Business Notify premise. If no contact, notify Responsible Parties.

ALARM Follow instructions on account. If no instructions, contact Alarm Company.

AUTO ARM ABORT Call premise, for user name and clearing code.
If no contact or no code, notify Responsible Parties only.

BATTERY TEST FAILURE Notify Alarm Company.

BURGLARY Call premise. for user name and clearing code.
If correct code is given - no further action taken.
If incorrect code is given BUT cancel/open/close is received: No further action.
If incorrect code is given and NO cancel/open/close received or NO contact:
    Notify Responsible Parties and dispatch IF REQUESTED by Responsible Party
     If NO Responsible Party contact - Dispatch

BYPASS Take no further action.

CANCEL Call premises for welfare check. If answering machine is reached or wrong code is given, take no further action.

CLOSE / CLOSE EARLY Take no further action.

CODE ERROR Notify Alarm Company only, unless otherwise stated on account.

DURESS Dispatch police. Notify Alarm Company per their instructions. (Duress with a defined zone description will be treated with a higher level of response by Police Department).

EXPANSION ALARM Notify Alarm Company.

FAIL TO CHECK IN Notify Alarm Company.

FIRE Dispatch fire department. Call premises. If no answer, call Responsible Parties. Inform Alarm Company. (If false alarm, inform premise to cancel fire department.)

FIRE TROUBLE Notify Alarm Company.

HOLD UP Dispatch police. Notify Alarm Company per their instructions. (Hold up with a defined zone description will be treated with a higher level of response by Police Department).

LOW BATTERY Notify Alarm Company.

MEDICAL Call premise for welfare check. If there is an emergency, advise person to stay by phone ( Emergency services might be calling with instructions ). Dispatch fire department. If NO answer, dispatch department. Notify Responsible Parties. Inform Alarm Company.

NOT YET CLOSED Call premise. If no answer or wrong clearing code is given, call Responsible Parties to notify.

NOT YET OPEN Call premise. If no answer, call Responsible Parties to notify.

OPEN AFTER ALARM Call premise for welfare check. If answering machine is reached or wrong code is given, take no further action.

OPEN EARLY Call premise. Get name and clearing code. If no answer or wrong clearing code is given, call Responsible Parties to notify.

PANIC, AUDIBLE Call premise. Get name and clearing code. If no answer or wrong code is given, dispatch police. Notify Alarm Company. Follow Alarm Companies instructions for Responsible Party notification. All panic signals are considered "Silent Panics" unless otherwise indicated on account.

PANIC, SILENT Dispatch police. Notify Alarm Company. (Panic with a defined zone description will be treated with a higher level of response by Police Department).

PARTIAL ARM Take no further action.

RECENT CLOSE
(FOLLOWING BURG)
Call premise get name and code, no answer call Responsible Parties, no contact dispatch.

RECENT CLOSE
(WITHOUT A BURG)
No further action per close.

RESTORE Follow procedures.

SHUNT Take no further action.

TAMPER Call premise. Get name and clearing code. If no answer or wrong code is given, notify Alarm Company.

TROUBLE Follow instructions on account. If no instructions on account, notify Alarm Company.

UNDEFINED SIGNALS Notify Alarm Company.
